The Lancaster and Northwestern
Railroad Club
We started work around 9. We had some success and some set backs. No pictures of the stone portal probably because we go a little too excited about it and broke it when we took it out of the mold. The cement was still too green to be handled. We will glue it back together when we glue it into place on the layout after the cement has cured a few more days. Othewise we got two more portals poured, the "wooden plank forms" portal installed, a cover on the south east tunnel and track restaked along the south end of the layout. We had to pull up the first track we staked so the nursery guys could put down DG.
Trenching to run electrical wires and drip line tubing to various parts of the layout
