The layout is two ovals, one about two feet above ground level and the other moving from the same height to ground level and back. A third smaller oval cuts through mountains on the north end of the layout. There is just over 300 feet of track. The track is floating on a decomposed granite roadbed. The layout incorporates a previously existing water feature, tiki fountain, and wisteria covered gazebo.
The entire layout is operated by DC track voltage by remote control via Aristo-Craft Train Engineer with 10 amp power supplies.
